The Institute of Robotics Research is part of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at the Technical University of Dortmund. It houses the chairs of Data Processing Systems and Control Theory and Systems Engineering

The institution consists of an interdisciplinary team of scientists and administrative and technical staff.

Together we work on the development of new robotic systems and technologies. The research work focuses on robotics, automated driving, artificial intelligence, human-robot interaction, sensor technology and image processing.
